Below are examples of some of the commissions I have undertaken in my signature style
and some examples of how my work has been licenced.

Book and Magazine Cover illustration

My work has been featured on a range of magazine and book covers over the years. With 300+ illustrations already in my portfolio there is an extensive choice of existing artwork that can be licenced and adapted for books, magazines, audio books and much more.

< La Saison des Ombres, Jo Baker - Custom book cover design

I worked alongside French publishing company Éditions Robert Laffont on this custom book cover illustration. The subject matter (The London Blitz) called for a more sombre palette than I usually work with - and included deep red and orange hues to contrast with the black.

Thatcher Cider

I worked with advertising powerhouse McCann (Bristol) on this exciting project for Thatchers Cider. The brief was to create six illustrations for their summer campaign - which was about celebrating the British holiday with Thatchers at it’s heart, so this one was right up my street!

Featuring amusing visual coincidences, the illustrations were used on billboards, posters, beer mats and display items, mainly in the South West of England.

Barbershop Botanticals

The brief for this project was to create a poster to encapsulate the brand and vision of this bespoke men’s grooming company. This was an interesting commission as it was to be completed in a retro colour palette - and I loved the resulting feel of the final artwork.

The image includes lots of little details that define the business - from the company bicycle, the product ranges, the owners and even Pip the dog!

Zig Zag Editions

I have worked with french trade licensing company Zig Zig Editions for several years on a range of commissioned travel prints.

Featuring locations across France and beyond, the designs are available on a range of gift items including art prints, magnets, postcards and jigsaws. (France only).

Peak District National Park

Working with a local advertising agency to produce the front cover artwork for a collection of Cycle Guides for the Peak District National Park. For this project I worked in my regular style but with a bolder more colour saturated palette.

​Red Rocks Nursing Home

A bespoke illustration for this Wirral based nursing home.
The illustration was used in the accommodation and on postcards.

​Clogau Jewellery


A shop front display poster for the Chester branch of this bespoke jewellery chain. The brief was for an illustration of Chester’s iconic Eastgate, modern in style but set in medieval times and with a knight shooting a bow and arrow in the foreground.

Rock My Adventure

Two commissioned artworks were produced featuring iconic African landscapes for this wonderful African adventure tour company.
