About Me

I am an artist and illustrator who specialises in creating images of local scenes in a modern and appealing way.

I have always had a keen interest in both photography and the landscapes of Britain. I also have many years commercial experience working as an Illustrator and Senior Designer. It is these combined skills and interests that have led me into producing this range of artwork.


Inspired by the classic travel posters of the early twentieth century, I was one of the first to experiment with and create modern day travel prints utilising digital art as a medium. My art technique has developed and evolved over the years and every single line and squiggle is meticulously drawn by hand and built up in layers to produce the final illustration, much like in the way a traditional artist might draw on paper. I love the resulting clean lines that can be achieved with this medium and I have also developed a modern palette to compliment my style. My aim is to create a simplified realism in my art together with a nostalgic depiction
of place.


Although I am currently based in Cheshire, I have travelled extensively throughout the UK and spent four years living in South West England.
As such, I often choose to focus on places that have made an
​impression on me.
